Two Massachusetts teens are facing several charges after a Cape Cod woman was shot.
According to a release by Barnstable Police, 18-year-old Evan Araujo of Hyannis and 19-year-old Jacob Winbush of Hyannis were arrested for shooting a 28-year-old Hyannis woman on Saturday.
“Based on the investigation following the early morning shooting both Araujo and Winbush were taken into custody by members of the Cape Cod Regional Law Enforcement SWAT Team with assistance from the Barnstable Police Patrol Division and K-9 Unit. The investigation continued after the arrests as Barnstable Police Detectives, with assistance of Barnstable Patrol Officers and the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit and Bureau of Criminal Investigations, executed several warrants to locate and secure pertinent evidence.”…
