Mass. State Police arrest over 50 people in 3-day child exploitation sting

Massachusetts State Police announced Monday that they’ve arrested more than 50 people in a three-day child exploitation operation.

State police said troopers and officers working as part of the statewide operation apprehended 56 people in nearly 40 communities who were allegedly engaged in the possession, production and sharing of child sexual abuse material or child enticement and other illegal activities.

Among those arrested in what was deemed Operation Firewall were “successful businesspeople, homeowners, spouses,” Lt. Col. Daniel Tucker said at a news conference at state police headquarters in Framingham, flanked by police Superintendent Geoffrey Noble and several district attorneys…
