A former employee with the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection pleaded guilty last month to providing a drug-laced paper to a federal prison inmate at FMC Devens, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
In turn, the inmate was granted clemency in January, reducing his 2022 federal prison sentence on drug distribution charges.
