  • In Springfield, homeowners may operate snowblowers only between 5 a.m. and midnight during a storm. If individuals choose to ignore this mandate, they could face fines up to $100.
  • In Newton, homeowners are only allowed to use a snow blower from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
