STURBRIDGE, Mass. (WWLP) – A suspect was taken into custody by the Massachusetts State Police after a police chase on I-84 west in Sturbridge.

The Massachusetts State Police states that during a recent patrol, the Massachusetts State Police Air Wing overheard radio traffic about a person attempting to drive away from a traffic stop on I-84 west in Sturbridge.
The suspect abandoned the vehicle in the median and ran off on foot. A state police K-9, along with Field Services, and troopers in the sky searched the perimeter. The suspect was located deep in the woods using a heat signature…
