Dudley man, 56, arrested on second default warrant after allegedly strangling girlfriend

DUDLEY — A Dudley man charged in April with assaulting and strangling his girlfriend was arrested on a warrant on Nov. 11, 2025, after failing to appear for earlier court dates, court records show.

According to Dudley Police Officer Daniel Brunelle’s Statement of Facts for the incident, on Sunday, April 20, 2025, at approximately 6:18 p.m., a woman in a Brandon Road apartment called 911 reporting her boyfriend had just tried to strangle her, and the dispatcher could hear him yelling in the background.
