A 47-year-old man has been convicted of beating to death an inmate at the Massachusetts Treatment Center in Bridgewater in 2021, Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz’s office announced Wednesday.
Jurors found Michael Robinson guilty of one count each of involuntary manslaughter and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, a press release from the district attorney’s office reads. Sentencing for Robinson is scheduled for Jan. 9, 2026.
