Veera, an eight-pound dog rescued from severe neglect earlier this month, has died after her body could no longer sustain the fight for recovery. Sandy Paws Rescue Inc. announced on Saturday, December 27th, that despite intensive hospitalization and every medical effort, the fragile animal passed away surrounded by caregivers who had been working tirelessly to save her life.…
