New Snow Chances Coming: Here’s When Next Rounds Will Hit As Bitter Cold Lingers

A fresh wave of wintry weather is on the way for the Northeast, with multiple fast-moving storm systems set to bring more snow and slippery conditions through the weekend and into early next week.

The National Weather Service says the cold will hold tight on Saturday, Jan. 3, with morning lows in the teens and low 20s, and daytime highs only reaching the upper 20s to low 30s. As night falls, a quick-moving system could drop a dusting of snow, mainly after midnight and into early Sunday, Jan. 4.
