Separate Stolen Car Pursuits Lead to Juvenile Arrests in Worcester

WORCESTER, Mass. — Two juveniles were arrested and charged following separate police pursuits involving stolen vehicles on the morning of Jan. 12, 2026, according to authorities.

At approximately 10:20 a.m., officers attempted to stop two vehicles on Jones Street that failed to comply. Police said the operator of one vehicle drove into the opposite lane of traffic, causing another motorist to swerve to avoid a collision. That vehicle then traveled the wrong way down a one-way street before crashing into another vehicle, causing the suspect’s car to flip onto its side.

A 14-year-old male was taken into custody at the scene. He is charged with receiving a stolen motor vehicle, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, failing to stop for a stop sign or red light twice, and operating the wrong way on a one-way street.
