Pick any band in Worcester and you’ll find that at least one of its members, if not more, has some solo music out.
Folk group the Big League Collective is no exception, as one of its core trio, singer-songwriter Pete L’Esperance, has been quietly releasing singles for some time now under the name Morning Son.
The most recent of these is “Teardrops & Diamonds,” released at the end of 2025, which opens with a wistful acoustic guitar in ¾ time and some piano echoes in the distance. Per the liner notes on L’Esperance’s Bandcamp page, he wrote the song many years ago and this one has been waiting for the spotlight for quite some time…
