AE Regional Distribution Co., a distributor for American Eagle Outfitters, will close its Massachusetts distribution facility at Devens. As a result, 103 employees will be laid off, according to a Massachusetts Workers Adjustment Retraining Notice filed with the state on Feb. 11.
The Layoffs at the 64 Jackson Road distribution center will occur between April 12 and May 6, according to the notice.
The company, formerly known as Quiet Logistics, was acquired by American Eagle for about $360 million in 2021 to accelerate delivery times to retail outlets, according to Yahoo Finance.
