A Massachusetts man has his family in mind after recently hitting big money on a lottery game that will be replaced this weekend.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Joseph Hennessy of Weymouth is the winner of a $25,000 a year for life prize in the multi-state Lucky for Life game after the first five numbers on his ticket matched those selected in the February 12, 2026 drawing.
Hennessy claimed his prize at Massachusetts State Lottery headquarters in Dorchester. He chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $390,000 (before taxes). He plans on helping his family with the winnings…
