WORCESTER – Around 10:00 PM Friday night, several gunshots were fired at a residence on 42 Townsend Street in Worcester. A ShotSpotter activation alerted authorities, and a separate 911 call also reported gunfire in the area.
Officers from the Worcester Police Department responded to the scene, along with the Crime Scene Unit (CSU) and the Detective Bureau. Ballistic evidence was recovered at the scene.
