A restaurant chain that sells health food such as salads and protein bowls, is opening its first store in Central Massachusetts.
Sweetgreen will open a restaurant in Millbury at 70 Worcester-Providence Turnpike, suite 710, according to its website. The Millbury address listed on the website is the same address of The Shops at Blackstone Valley. A map of the location places the Sweetgreen across the street from the Applebee’s at the mall.
The website does not list an opening date for the new location — only saying that it is “coming soon.” Calling the store’s phone number results in an automated voice saying “this store is not yet open.”…
