Worcester Police help shovel out resident as blizzard cleanup continues

During Wednesday morning’s snowfall, four Worcester police officers helped a resident of Winifred Avenue, in the Newton Square area of the city, shovel her car out of her driveway.

Winifred Avenue resident Hanna said she’s had trouble finding someone to plow her out, “I called a number of people to please come and help me with the snow plowing. Nobody showed up. Nobody who promised they would show up. Today I flagged down one police officer and he said, well, I’ll try to help you and then two minutes later, four police cars showed up and they shoveled me out in no time and parked my car. And it’s great and even had a snowball fight with my little kid.”…
