WORCESTER – While nearly all of the snow from this winter’s storms has melted, Daniela Martinez, 34, owner of Kiani’s Boutique at 339 Shrewsbury St., is still dealing with the aftermath and says the city needs to pay up.
During the Jan. 25-26 snowfall, Martinez was notified by her landlord that the Department of Public Works needed to enter her store in order to check a frozen pipe. Martinez says the crew left her back room in disarray.
“I think they did what they had to do, but they also damaged everything in my back room,” Martinez said. “There was clothes all over the floor, there was scratches all over the floor, there was broken mannequins.”…
