HOLDEN — On Saturday, March 21, 2026, at approximately 3:25 a.m., the Wachusett Regional Emergency Communications Center received an automatic fire alarm activation at a commercial building located at 1 Woodmeister Way.
According to the Holden Fire Department, the first arriving engine company confirmed a water flow activation inside the large manufacturing facility. Upon investigation, firefighters located heavy smoke and active fire in a large spray booth room.
A working fire assignment was requested, bringing mutual aid resources to the scene. The fire was brought under control with the activation of two sprinkler heads and was ultimately extinguished by responding fire companies…
