Worcester Police responded to Beacon Bank on Main Street around 1:44 p.m. on March 23, 2026, after reports of an armed robbery. Officers say a man entered the bank, demanded money, and claimed to have a gun. No one was hurt. Police later found the suspect, 67-year-old Michael Decarolis, on Sagamore Road and arrested him without incident. A bag of cash was recovered, but no firearm was found. Decarolis has been charged with armed robbery.
