WORCESTER – A judge who in December ruled authorities were “at best negligent” in their efforts to prosecute a 1994 Fitchburg murder has agreed to recall prosecutors to the stand after the district attorney’s office turned over information defense lawyers argue conflicts with that finding.
Worcester Superior Court Judge Daniel M. Wrenn, with the assent of local prosecutors, agreed to recall former prosecutors to testify as to the reasons behind the lengthy delay.
