Roving UHub photographer John Patrick Haley caught a gander of two new Red Line cars being delivered to the Cabot Yard on flatbeds rolling down Tremont Street at Rutland Street around 8:45 p.m. He reports State Police shut down both sides of the road for the wide loads.
Okay, I’m at a loss.
From where would these be coming that there would be any reason to be on Tremont or near Rutland on the way to Cabot yard? Surely there are wider and more direct routes between the highway and the yard. Is it that those low flatbed trailers need an exceptionally flat route?…
