MARLBOROUGH, MA — The Marlborough Police Department is warning residents about a phone scam in which callers falsely claim to be police officers.
Police said they have received several reports of individuals calling residents while pretending to be Marlborough police officers and asking if they are home so an officer can be sent to their residence.
