WORCESTER – If war monuments could talk, this one might deliver the bold promise that Gen. Douglas MacArthur made during World War II – “I shall return.”
At least, that is the likely case with the Gold Star Families monument that once stood at Grove and North streets. The monument has been missing for about seven years.
But the tribute will soon return, according to the city…
