More than 100 apartments could replace closed Central Mass. country club

A now-closed country club in Leicester could become the new home of 192 apartments and 98 townhouses.

The proposal is from 1430 Main St. LLC, a limited liability company represented by David Weinstock of Arlington and Robert Fox of Plymouth, according to the project application. The site for the apartments, 1430 Main St., used to be home to the Leicester Country Club, an 18-hole golf course that permanently closed in 2025, the application reads.
