WESTBOROUGH — In May of 2021, just as the world was beginning to open back up from the COVID-19 pandemic, a small fire broke out at the VFW Post 9013 building at 9A Milk Street.
A renovation of the building would have cost the VFW more than it had in available funding, Deputy Commander Tony Pittman said. Therefore, VFW leadership made the decision to sell the building, developing a newfound mission to keep the organization alive through work that would support the community.
The sale became official in September 2025…
