Sutton contractor who fled state held without bail after extradition

WORCESTER – A former Sutton contractor who left the state rather than answer to allegations of fraudulent business dealings was ordered held without bail Tuesday, April 7, after being extradited to Worcester Superior Court from Connecticut.

Sean J. Brennan, who has been the subject of a warrant here since skipping court in 2023, was transported to the courthouse by authorities from Connecticut, where he was arrested last summer after months of evading police.

Worcester Superior Court Judge Valerie Yarashus approved a request from prosecutors that he be held without bail, noting that a lawyer who argued such a ruling was unfair could request a further hearing…
