Massachusetts woman faces workers’ comp fraud, perjury and larceny charges in Connecticut

NORWICH, Conn. — A Massachusetts woman will appear in Norwich Superior Court next week to faces charges that allege she unlawfully collected workers’ compensation benefits while employed at a storage facility in Putnam.

Mackenzie Coonan, 25, of Rutland, Mass. was arrested on Wednesday by inspectors with the Workers’ Compensation Fraud Control Unit in the Office of the Chief State’s Attorney.
