A federal judge won’t let former Massachusetts State Police Trooper Michael Proctor “refresh his memory” ahead of his scheduled deposition in a wrongful death lawsuit filed against Karen Read.
Proctor led the investigation into the death of Read’s boyfriend, Boston Police officer John O’Keefe, who was found in the snow outside the home of a fellow officer on Jan. 29, 2022. The June deposition will be taken in a wrongful death lawsuit filed by O’Keefe’s family against Read and two bars the couple drank at before his death.
