New headquarters ‘ideal location’ for Solect
Solect Energy finally has moved into its new headquarters on Hayden Rowe Street, marking the end of a multi-year journey to support the company’s growth.
“For a number of years, we’ve been looking for a different space to grow into,” explained Elaine Vescio, Solect’s senior marketing manager. She noted that the newly constructed building sits next to the company’s former building. Solect bought the property once it became available.
The solar development company, which was founded in Hopkinton in 2009, brought plans for the new construction to the town in 2023. The new building at 87 Hayden Rowe Street replaces an unoccupied apartment building. Plans shared with the Planning Board in 2023 showed the new facility would retain much of the former building’s character…
