For the seventh time in a row, The Worcester Regional Transit Authority (WRTA) voted to continue the city’s fare-free bus service.
The WRTA’s advisory board voted on April 23 to extend the program until June 30, 2027, according to WRTA Director of Marketing & Communications Jamie Winters.
The vote from the board was unanimous and was done as part of the approval of the WRTA’s fiscal year 2027 budget, Winters said…
