Central Mass. man charged in connection with operating drug ring that reached California, Hawaii

Nearly a dozen Massachusetts residents were arrested in connection with a multi-state drug ring that reached as far as Florida, California and Hawaii.

The drug ring was based in Gardner, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, and distributed large quantities of cocaine, marijuana, counterfeit pills and other drugs throughout the country.

The operation was headed by 39-year-old Gardner resident Hai Son Pham, prosecutors said. Pham registered and controlled Infinite Painting, a local residential painting company, and used the company to launder drug money…
