WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) — Parking lot surveillance footage that shows a man assaulting a woman in a vehicle as children looked on has resulted in three charges against a convicted felon with a history of assaults.
The June 7 assault in a business parking lot along 28th Street west of Burlingame Avenue SW was recorded and posted to social media, garnering a flood of views and comments.
Chad Ashton Grady, 35, is charged with assault with intent to commit great bodily harm, a 10-year felony. He’s also charged with fleeing police and fourth-degree child abuse. A warrant was authorized on Monday. Online records show Grady was booked into the Kent County jail Tuesday, with a preliminary bond of $250,000.
