Wanted felon arrested after SWAT standoff at Liberty Lake home

SPOKANE, Wash. — An hours-long standoff ended peacefully on June 6 near Liberty Lake after a wanted convicted felon barricaded himself inside a home, Spokane County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) said in a release.

According to SCSO, deputies and Liberty Lake police officers responded to what was described as a suspicious circumstance on N. Chase Lane. A caller had reported that someone was at a neighbor’s home without permission, deputies said.
