CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WRIC) — A 57-year-old unhoused person was found dead in an encampment beneath a Charlottesville bridge on Wednesday.
The morning of Wednesday, June 10, officers with the Charlottesville Police Department were called to the encampment beneath the Free Bridge following a report of “a strong odor” within one of the tents.
