Syracuse firefighters battle auto shop fire in 90-degree heat

Syracuse, N.Y. — Syracuse firefighters battled a fire in auto repair shop Thursday afternoon as temperatures climbed to 90 degrees.

Just after 2 p.m., firefighters were called to 360 N. Midler Ave. after a shop owner reported that his building was on fire, according to Syracuse Fire Deputy Chief Nick Pagano.
