HAMILTON, N.Y. — A Hamilton man was sentenced to prison for running a Ponzi scheme that stole more than $50 million from nearly 1,000 investors in Madison County and surrounding areas.
The New York Attorney General’s Office announced that Miles Burton Marshall, 74, received a sentence of four to 12 years in State prison after he pleaded guilty in April to charges including grand larceny, securities fraud, and scheme to defraud.
