Alaska-based investors buy Cheektowaga IHOP site

CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WBEN)….An Alaskan-based investment with ties to the Sugpiaq Native American tribe has acquired a Cheektowaga property anchored by an IHOP location.

Chenega Restaurant Properties LLC – an affiliate of the Anchorage-based Chenega Corp. – paid $2.3 million for the 4,000-square-foot IHOP location at 50 Thruway Plaza. The site is a Thruway Plaza outparcel.

IHOP remains as the building’s sole tenant. The national chain has been at the site for more than 20 years…
