After more than a year of waiting and a few delays, a new spot for big burgers, breakfast sandwiches and more is coming a short drive past the Charlotte border.
Whataburger’s newest Charlotte-area location is opening in Rock Hill, South Carolina, on Thursday, July 9, joining the Texas burger chain’s growing lineup in the Carolinas.
The first store in the brand’s Charlotte region opened in Gastonia in May 2025 with a location in Charlotte proper following in September.
