CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A woman is facing multiple charges after police said she chased her boyfriend with a kitchen knife while he held their 11-month-old son.
Gabriela Martinez Rivera, 27, was arrested Monday and charged with misdemeanor crime of domestic violence, misdemeanor child abuse, assault with a deadly weapon and assault with a deadly weapon with a minor present, court records show.
Officers responded to an apartment in the 200 block of East Cama Street around 9 p.m. for a reported domestic assault with a weapon, according to an affidavit.
