Indiana woman takes cover in bathtub as storm obliterates mobile home

MONROE COUNTY, Ind. (WXIN) – An Indiana woman huddled in a bathtub inside her mobile home as a powerful storm swept through Indiana on Wednesday night.

According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, the woman suffered a “broken ankle and possible broken or dislocated hip, which she received when the storm descended on her mobile home.”

She is recovering at an area hospital. Family members identified her as Tiffany Drake Collins, a mother of two.

Her family also revealed the extent of her injuries: a broken ankle, significant soft tissue damage, a severe concussion and an injury to her spleen.
