CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Morrison Family YMCA in Ballantyne will close after a $42.5 million agreement to sell the property to Moments of Hope Church, marking the second YMCA closure in a prime Charlotte location in recent years.
The YMCA announced the facility will remain open until summer 2027 with programs, camps and member services continuing until then.
The sale comes four years after the NoDa YMCA closed in 2023…
