SAN ANTONIO – Heavy rainfall overnight led to flash flooding concerns, road closures, and rising water levels across parts of Medina and Bexar counties early Saturday.
The heaviest rainfall fell along a corridor stretching from eastern Medina County into west-central and northern Bexar County. San Geronimo Creek near Helotes received more than 4 inches of rain, causing flooding along Highway 471. Radar estimates indicate some areas of northeastern Medina County may have received nearly 7 inches of rain.
