BURLINGTON, N.C. — One person died and another was hospitalized after a vehicle struck two pedestrians Saturday night in Burlington, according to police.
The Burlington Police Department responded at approximately 9:21 p.m. to the intersection of US 70 (N. Church Street) and Nike Drive for a reported crash involving two pedestrians and a motor vehicle.
Emergency Medical Services pronounced one adult dead at the scene. A second victim was transported to a local hospital. Their condition was not immediately known…
