FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – On Monday, Governor Mike Braun announced that 1,400 acres of forestland will soon become Indiana State Park territory.
Beginning July 1, the Salamonie River and Frances Slocum State Forests will transition management from the Department of Natural Resources (DNR).
