A Charlotte restaurateur and father of seven, Carlos Abrahams, was found dead in his car on Saturday near the intersection of Choate Road and Carowinds Boulevard, according to his family. Abrahams owned Crav’n Caribbean, operating both a brick-and-mortar spot and a food truck, and had become a familiar face in the Steele Creek community after the birth of his quadruplets in December 2024. According to Charlotte Alerts News, emergency crews responded to the Choate Road and Carowinds Boulevard area on June 20 and found Abrahams inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound to the head.
