OCONEE COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office a Greenville man was arrested on Tuesday for stealing a skid steer from a construction site.
Melvin Leonel Saravia Carbrera, 28, is facing charges of grand larceny and receiving stolen goods.
Deputies said they began investigating the theft of a Takeuchi skid steer from the construction site of the new Target store on Retail Road on May 27. It was then recovered on May 28 from a location in Pelzer.
Deputies had also previously investigated the theft of a 24-foot flatbed Stoll trailer from an address on Chetola Road on May 16. It was later recovered on June 15, according to officials…
