Two arrested on drug trafficking charges after one-half pound of meth found during traffic stop

CHEROKEE COUNTY — Two women have been arrested on drug trafficking charges after methamphetamine was found during traffic stop, according to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO).

They say agents with the CCSO Narcotics Division became aware of a drug trafficker operating within Cherokee County and subsequently opened an investigation.

Through that investigation, agents determined that Loretta Huskins of Andrews was traveling to Georgia to obtain methamphetamine for distribution within Cherokee County…
