CALDWELL, Idaho (CBS2) — Friday night’s storm brought significant rainfall, localized flooding, and storm-related damage to parts of Caldwell, and more unsettled weather is continuing through the weekend.
Additional showers and thunderstorms will continue throughout the weekend, and the Caldwell Police Department said it is continuing to monitor conditions while coordinating with local public safety and public works partners. The department said it is deploying additional patrol resources and using its Drone as First Responder program and Real Time Information Center to support response efforts.
As weather conditions safely allow, drones will assist the Caldwell Police Department and Caldwell Fire Department by providing an aerial perspective of affected areas.
