AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) – A police report is shedding light on a fatal hit-and-run crash last week that killed a 19-year-old utility worker.
The crash happened at 5:34 a.m. Friday at Rutland Drive and Northland Boulevard.
The Aiken Department of Public Safety said officers were called to the location after two men were reported down in the street. The men were discovered to be contractors working on a water valve in the right lane of Rutland Drive heading west, according to authorities.
