Wolfforth Farmers Market Now Open Sunday Evenings- And Vendors Will Benefit

I attended the Wofforth’s Farmers Market last week and had a great time. Between petting bunnies and trying fresh bread samples, I’m not sure I could have been any happier. I went home with piles of peaches, tomatoes, fresh baked goods, and even a little area bee pollen for my smoothies. And a few other odds and ends. Honestly, the only thing that ever keeps me away is knowing how much I’ll want to buy!

Why The Wofforth Farmer’s Market Works

This market has mastered the art of having something for everyone. Plants, animals, accessories, home decor, and plenty of food- both fresh produce, prepared meals, eggs, etc. I even got supplements for my dog out there. It’s incredibly diverse in the offerings available- whether you want fresh tortillas or cooked in front of you taiyaki, it’s at the market.

Spreading The Success (And The Love)

The Wolfforth Farmer’s Market recently adapted to its tremendous success by offering another open time each week. The market has been open Saturday mornings, and now they are open Sunday evenings as well. Additionally, the market recently made more improvements by adding more vendor barns and improving the layout.

Most business owners would gleefully (and 100% in their right) pocket all those extra vendor fees. However, WFM has decided to go in a different direction: they are waiving the vendor fees for Sunday night’s market.

To help grow small businesses and help families in our area, we’re going to let all vendors and food trucks come to the market for free every Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. for our year-round evening market.
